Brown Boy Genius is the brainchild of Britni Danielle, a Los Angeles-based freelance writer and novelist. After spending six years teaching middle school English in L.A., and covering dozens of stories about boys of color, Britni was dismayed about the way the media portrayed boys of color and wanted to use her voice to highlight the positive achievements of brown boys as well as build a space that would support, encourage, and give voice to those who love them.
At Brown Boy Genius Britni will shine a spotlight on boys who are doing awesome things—around the world—and write about her experience raising a beautiful brown boy who she affectionately calls Le Kid.
